David Hagen

David James Hagen made his Rangers debut in 1992 at the tender age of 19 and went on to make a further 19 competitive first team appearances, scoring 3 goals in the process. His final run out in blue was brief but memorable, a late substitute in the Old Firm victory at Hampden on 30th October 1994.

Operating in midfield or on the flanks, the former Grahamston Boys Club also represented Scotland at Under 21 level.

On leaving Rangers, David had spells with Hearts and Clyde (among others) but his most productive period came at hometown side Falkirk where he played from 1995 to 2000.

Having been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease (MND), David fought a brave battle before the illness tragically took his life on 24th July 2020. He was just 47 years of age.
