Played at Ibrox Park before 4000 spectators. The Rangers lost the toss and kicked off against the wind. H McCreadie at once got on the ball and passed. Steel had a chance to shoot, but he was tackled by Mirk, and the ball went over the line. For a time after this play was confined to midfield.
