Match Trivia

Played at Kinning Park and resulted in favour of the Rangers by 13 goals to nothing. The Possil Park were expected to render a good account of themselves, but the passing tactics of the Rangers forwards proved too much for them. The game had progress about five minutes when Marshall in conjunction with McNeil succeeded in lowering the colours. This was immediately followed by a second goal from the foot of Watson, a thrilling shot from Ricketts who was in good form at half back scored the third; another by P Campbell and a fifth shortly before half time taken by the same player. At change of ends the Possil Park wrought hard but to no success, the game becoming one sided another eight goals were charged to the Rangers three of which were kicked by the brothers Campbell, two by Hill and one each by Marshall, Watson and McNeil
