Match Trivia

Played at Trinidad Park Govan. From a neat centre by Smith the first goal was scored by Miller for his side, and the second by Galloway. The ball was again passed between the Rangers post, but the score was disallowed. At half time the Rangers had not scored. In the second half the vistors pulling themselves together, and P Campbell astonished his oponents backs with one of his dashing runs, concluding by scoring a goal. Miller soon scored another goal for the Parkgrove. Strenuous efforts were made by the Rangers to equalise matters, but WR Campbell picking his way through half backs and backs neatly landed the leather at the feet of Galloway, who scored another goal for his side – the game thus resulting in the defeat of the Rangers by four goals to one
