Match Trivia

About 3000 spectators assembled at Barrowfield ark to witness this match. Both clubs were strongly represented. The Clyde kicked off and advanced about half way, when the Rangers got possession, but the left wing permitted the ball to go in touch. After the ball was re-started the Clyde were back again, and by a repetition of the same brilliant play secured an unmistakeable goal, the honour of which fell to Lambie. On change of ends after some general play, McIntyre got possession and after carrying it forward gave it into the charge of Pringle from whose foot it went through scoring one for the Rangers, and a few minutes afterwards Lindsay put on a second point. Result :- Rangers 2 goals; Clyde 1 goal.
